Ages vary per camp, and each camp is just $25 per child. But hurry—spaces are limited, so don’t miss out! Register today and give your kids a summer they’ll never forget!

Journalism

Young aspiring journalists can develop their storytelling and editorial skills while learning to create news stories across multiple media platforms. 

Invention Convention

The Region 6 LaSTEM Center, CenlaSTEM will be hosting the first City of Alexandria Invention Convention. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the design process, as they learn how to brainstorm, design, and create a prototype for inventions that can address a need in their home or the community. 

Public Safety Academy

Teens will explore careers in public safety- local police, fire and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel – as well as learn valuable life and safety lessons. Teens will gain an overall knowledge of how these departments are organized, how they serve the community, and how they respond when citizens call.

Healthy Living

Plant, cook, eat and play! Kids will work up an appetite as they learn basic gardening, cooking, and healthy nutrition choices. Through fun and hands-on activities, kids will sow the seeds for healthy eating habits and active lifestyles. 

Youth Financial Literacy

Through fun and engaging activities, kids will discover how their money mind-set plays a significant role in their future financial success. Kids will build good money habits through topics including earning and budgeting, economics, credit and debt, net worth, saving vs. investing, and business.
